Threshold Recording Studios NYC owner & Executive Producer James Walsh recently had the pleasure of producing a song in our studio with John Taylor and Roger Taylor of Duran Duran for the non-profit Road Recovery / Threshold Studios Community Fund in-house teen music peer support programs. As supporters of the non-profit Road Recovery, we get the opportunity to give back to our community through music and be a part of some amazing collaborations. As part of their ongoing Pledge Music campaign, Road Recovery supporter SLASH has lent his legendary guitar playing to the cause! Type II, the Road Recovery House Band, invited Slash to play with them on their song "Crimson Chaos." It was a blast mixing a song featuring Slash's signature guitar licks and sound. At its best, the studio is a place where people can come together and create something bigger than any of the individuals could on their own.
